As a kid I was fascinated by pictures my dad took. He had an old Kodak Pony 35mm camera and it was a common occurrence for him to host a slide show when we had company. At a certain age he started allowing me to use his camera, and I began taking pictures of everything.
I was thrilled when he brought home a photographic enlarger and while in high school, I spent a lot of time in a closet that had been converted into a darkroom.
Standing proudly with my very first camera.
Today, I shoot things I find interesting and cool. Sometimes while driving (shhh). I also work as a headshot photographer. Below are samples of both my headshot work as well as some of my other work over the last few years. You can see more at my photography website, JimDPhotography.com.
